A brief note on the Republican convention....
So, the tagline for the convention, “we built it”, is actually based around an Obama quote taken out of context. A quote that by the way, reiterates the basic foundation of Adam Smith’s theory of capitalism.
So not only is the slogan based upon a lie, it also foolishly goes against the economic theory that Republicans have traditionally espoused.
